Microdosing





Microdosing is taking a fraction of a gram of psilocybin (aka magic mushrooms) and is usually around 0.1-0.2 grams. It is such a small dose that you don't "trip out" or hallucinate like when taking a bigger dose, and the subtle effects could be considered comparable to having half a beer, or in the range to where you barely feel it. This allows you to confidently go about your day to day life while potentially giving you a number of physical and mental health benefits including elevated mood, easing anxiety or depression, relieving headaches, and stimulating neurogenesis, particularly when combining with Lions Mane mushroom.  (Neurogenesis is the process by which new neurons are formed in the brain where you might get new creative insights, learn new things about yourself, break old patterns of negative self talk, work through old traumas and neurogenisis helps grow and solidify those new connections and healthier thought patterns. Directions For Use As previously said before, a microdose should be 0.1-0.2 grams. If you take much more you may feel “too high”. It should be small enough that you barely feel it. You can experiment with both, and if you have 0.2g capsules and feel it is too strong, you can open it up and dump/split it into half, or if you try a 0.1g and feel its too weak, then you can take 2 next time to see how you like it. If you take it every day you will build a tolerance to it and will find you need to take bigger doses, so it is recommended to do something like this. 1 day on 1 day off, 2 days on two days off, 3 days on 3 days off etc. NOTE - A proper dose for Lion's Mane is at least 2g or (1tsp). Brands that add Lions Mane to their capsules is way too small of an amount to really do anything. A capsule can only hold about 0.2 grams, so if you are taking 1 capsule of Lions Mane it is 1/10 of the minimum recommended serving size. So don’t take capsuled Lions Mane powder or tinctures for that matter.
